Membership

Art Circle Members usually meet on the last Friday of the month at the RBSA Gallery. Meetings mainly focus on constructive discussion of members work. There are occasional short presentations on issues of interest to practicing artists. Every Autumn a distinguished speaker is invited to give the annual lecture.

Applying for Membership

If you are interested in joining the Art Circle , it is recommended to attend a meeting to see first hand what we do. If you do not know an existing member to come along with, please get in touch so that we can welcome you upon arrival.

Membership is by elections held in the Spring and in the Autumn. Applicants must be sponsored by two existing members. They must show at least 10 pieces of their best work to the sponsors, who will then select six. This usually takes place in the applicants home. The six framed pieces are taken to the RBSA by the applicant on election night.

The annual sub payable is £40.
